TECH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS


MECHANICAL

1.    NO ANTIFREEZE COOLANT in radiator! Radiator fluid must be water/ water wetter only.  Radiator overflow tube must be routed into a 6 oz. or larger enclosed catch container. Container must be separate from carburetor and crank case catch container.

2.    Carburetor and crank case vent tubes must be routed into a 2 oz. or larger enclosed catch container. Container must be separate from radiator catch container.

3.    All engine, transmission, and final drive unit oil drain plugs must be safety wired or be covered with 3M weather strip cement (aka gorilla snot).  Adhesive must be in contact with the bolt and adjoining surface.

4.    All machines must have operating front and rear brakes.

5.    Headlight, taillight and turn signals must be removed or their lens covered with tape.

6.    License plates, Center / side stands must be removed.

7.    Axle sliders and bar guards/sliders (aka bark busters) highly recommended!

NUMBER PLATES

1.    Must have a suitable number plate surface on the front and both sides of the bike.

2.    Motocross or dirt track style plates are recommended.

3.    The plate’s background color must contrast with the color of the numbers and be legible from a distance.

TRANSPONDERS

1.    AMB -X160 mounted on right/left side(depending on which side the track receiver unit is located) fork leg between top and bottom triple clamp.

2.    Transponders may be rented for $10 + valid driver’s license.

3.    Other AMB models may work. Check for compatibility.

APPROVED TIRES

1.    Road race slicks, grooved slicks, or rain tires.

2.    Class “C” dirt-track tires.

3.    DOT /Street Supermoto tires.

REQUIRED RIDING GEAR

1.    Supermoto, Road Race, or Dirt Track leathers.

2.    Motocross Gear: MUST INCLUDE hip pads, knee cups, elbow pads, and a chest/ shoulder /back protector or heavy enduro jacket.

3.    Leather gloves:  Supermoto, Road Race, Street or suitably protective gloves.

4.    Helmet: Undamaged full-face motocross helmet with goggles or road helmet with face shield.
